8/4/08 Progress continues! I have received day 1 footage and all the audio files from the "lab". Once the rest of the hardware is in place, cutting will begin. Here are a few pix from the wrap party.

Know Rest: Within the next week or so the first batch of RED footage will be transcoded and I can begin putting the masterpiece together. This will take several months to complete so be patient and check here from time to time for updates! I want to say thank you to all of you who helped make this feature possible... really... I do, but that seems grossly inadequate for all the hard work, time, and dedication so many of you put into Vital Force. A simple thank you just isn't enough. However, until this film goes somewhere, it will have to be so... THANK YOU ALL! 7/22/08
That's a Wrap!! Yesterday marked the end of principal photography for Vital Force. It has been quite an adventure from chasing ghosts at Northern State to pushing the limits with a 17 hour production day. More to come! 7/11/08 So we are well on our way into production! We've had 5 successful days of photography with 8 or so more to go! I continue to be impressed by the level of talent the actors are bringing to set each day. Special thanks to Leah Forbes for hosting us for two days up in Mt. Vernon. We are in desperate need of help in our makeup department. We are also in immediate need of CID soldier extras for Wednesday July 9th! 6/29/08 For the cast and crew: Click on the "Production Notes" link above to get all the info you could possibly need or deleted! 6/27/08 (barely) We're so close to production and there is still so much to do! Here are a few things I could use some help with: Extra CID Soldiers: These need to be men and women who are physically fit (military like). Soldiers are needed on Wednesday July 9th and Friday evening, July 18th. Extra Prisoners: These are both humans and aliens alike who get broken out of an alien prison. They are needed July 9th, July 10th (late night), and Friday evening July 18th. Extras don't have to be available on all dates above but that would be helpful! If you are interested or know someone who might be, send them my way! Still need a Wardrobe Supervisor, Assistant Director, Production Designer, Property Master, and Makeup Supervisor! Contact Heather at vitalforcefilm@gmail.com if interested 6/24/08 And we're back! The motherboard in my computer went out two weeks ago and I have been unable to update the website until now. We have lots of exciting things going on and many new additions to our cast and crew. We're just a week away from production and we still need help in the Art Department. If you know of anyone interested in working in wardrobe, makeup, or set decoration, please send them to vitalforcefilm@gmail.com. 6/10/08 We had a great casting session yesterday. I'm still waiting to hear back from all of the actors but our smaller roles are starting to fill. There is still a need for background extras so if you know of anyone who is interested, send them my way! Table Reading is set for Monday, June 23rd at 7:00pm in the SCC Theatre Lobby 5/29/08 Production is scheduled to take place between July 1st and July 22nd. We anticipate the shoot will be between 15 and 20 days. Auditions will be held on Monday, June 9th from 1:00-3:00pm at Shoreline Community College.
