1/20/08 I'm pleased to announce that Sunshine Whitton is now a Co-Producer for the Vital Force feature. As many of you know, Sunshine provided the Red One camera we used to film Vital Force. In addition, Sunshine was also the original actor to play the role of Ambassador Arik. Sunshine has been a tremendous help during post production as we had to invent a work flow for this amazing footage. Now he's assisting in the two production days scheduled for the beginning of February. Sunshine will also assist in getting the film distributed once we reach the finish line. Thank you Sunshine! 12/01/08 Work continues! After much demand, I put a trailer together. This is just a taste of what's cooking! It's not color corrected and there's no visual effects as yet but it still looks awesome!

11/22/08 Time for an update! I have received the high resolution footage from Sunshine this week which means I can start working on the visual effects. This brings us closer to picture lock where Brenden can start composing and Tara can start foley work. Actors beware: you will be called upon for some ADR! 10/04/08 Great news people, I just finished the initial rough cut of Vital Force! This means that within the next week, I can start brining in audio and visual specialists to take a look and get started on the next phase of post production! Tabu Studios is already working on the Kayloran Capital City. Here are a few more pix.
10/02/08 Work continues! Why just yesterday I finished the rough cut of reel 4 (scenes 73-90). That brings the rough cut up to 80% complete! The audio and visual team is coming together. Check out the post crew link to see the epic people coming to Vital Force! Here are a few sample pieces put together by our new visual effects artist FJG. He's working on the Kayloran Capital City.
9/14/04 I realize it's been a while since I posted an update and I apologize. We've been working out some issues with our post production work flow. I am happy to say those issues have been resolved and editing has begun. I am confident I will have a rough cut of the film by the end of the month. I am in need of assistance in the audio and visual effects department. Anyone interested in helping out in those areas of post production should send an e-mail to vitalforcefilm@gmail.com.
8/4/08 Progress continues! I have received day 1 footage and all the audio files from the "lab". Once the rest of the hardware is in place, cutting will begin. Here are a few pix from the wrap party.

Know Rest: Within the next week or so the first batch of RED footage will be transcoded and I can begin putting the masterpiece together. This will take several months to complete so be patient and check here from time to time for updates! I want to say thank you to all of you who helped make this feature possible... really... I do, but that seems grossly inadequate for all the hard work, time, and dedication so many of you put into Vital Force. A simple thank you just isn't enough. However, until this film goes somewhere, it will have to be so... THANK YOU ALL! 7/22/08
That's a Wrap!! Yesterday marked the end of principal photography for Vital Force. It has been quite an adventure from chasing ghosts at Northern State to pushing the limits with a 17 hour production day. More to come! 7/11/08 So we are well on our way into production! We've had 5 successful days of photography with 8 or so more to go! I continue to be impressed by the level of talent the actors are bringing to set each day. Special thanks to Leah Forbes for hosting us for two days up in Mt. Vernon. We are in desperate need of help in our makeup department.
