8/4/08
Okay okay I know it's
been what... over 5 months since the series wrapped but I swear we are
making progress toward finishing the original 5 episodes. I am
pleased to say the I have just completed episode 5. That means
only episodes 1 and 3 remain. I have plans to finish episode 1 by
the end of the week and episode 3 by the end of next. The premiere
of the series is coming...soon! I promise!
6/24/08
Now that my computer is
up and running again I can share the good news, episodes 2 and 4 are
done! Episode 5 is 99% complete with episode 3 coming very close
to the finish line as well. I appreciate your patience as we all
wait in anticipation for a big premiere.
5/29/08
Hmmm guess it's
been a while since I posted an update. I have been working like crazy to
get these episodes done. Episode 4 needs to spend some time in
After Effects to finish color correcting and then it's done.
Episode 2 needs a few more visual effects as well as color correction
then it will be done also. I fully anticipate having both these
eps done by 12:01am Saturday morning (this is entirely dependant on AE
not crashing on me every 20 minutes like yesterday!)
Dave is working hard on
Episodes 1 and 3 and they should be done in two weeks or so.
The feature film is
delaying the release of the series as I've had to divert a lot of my
attention to pre-production. However, Dave and I are working on planning
a premiere to show the five episodes sometime in mid June. We
promise to have these films done prior to commencing production on the
sequel. Take a look at the feature website for more information.

Good news people,
the summer sequel
was given a green
light by Tony this morning! The
Vital Force
sequel was chosen as one of the summer films at SCC. This
gives us a $500
budget which is not
nearly enough but it's a start! We need more money!
5/3/08
We continue
our due diligence
in finishing
up the films. Dave has a
nearly complete
rough cut of
episode 1. I have
been focusing on the
feature script
for the sequel this summer. Some
exciting
things are
happening there
and when I can, I will share them with
you!
Oh and I put a couple of
frame gabs
from Ep 4 in the
gallery
section.
4/18/08
I've been working hard this past week on finishing up
episode 4.
It's nearly
complete with
episode 2
coming in right behind it. The
rough cut
of episode 5
is complete as of today. I have about
30 pages
of the sequel
written. I
approached Tony
about playing the
role of Danny Adair
this summer. He
agreed to consider
the part pending
SAG approval.

It's been a while but rest assured
things are progressing!
I have already started writing the
summer sequel
to Vital Force.
Dave
has the footage for episodes 1 and 3 and is
working hard
on cutting
them together. Again still
looking for
some free music
to score the films.
3/27/08
Finished another
fabulous night of
shooting on
Wednesday. Today I played around in
After Effects
and created a 10
second opening
title sequence. Not sure if it'll be the final version.

3/25/08
I've been working
hard on episode
2
and episode 4.
We have two
shoot days left,
one this Wednesday and another once school starts up again. The
films are looking
awesome! Still
looking for any music we could use to score the films!
So I've nearly finished a
rough cut
of episode 4
and it's looking great! I also started playing around in After
Effects. Take a
look
at Kaylor Prime!
I also added some
wallpaper
to the Gallery.
We are
nearly
finished with production!
We've got three
half days until we
wrap and scheduling is less than cooperative! Nearly all of the
footage
has been captured
and editing
is already
underway. I
hope to get a
teaser up sometime
soon!
Looking for music!
The
Vital Force
production team is looking for
music
we can use to
score the
films.
We don't want to steal music from other films so it has to be
all original.
